We booked here for 5 nights and would recommend it as a good value place to stay. The cottages are clean and comfortable and have the basic necessities. The aircon works well and there are mosquito screens around the bed if required. The pool and sitting by the pool area is quite small but it was ok for us. There was also a some nice picnic tables to sit at and chairs outside your unit. You can access the beach for a swim via the Karma Resort. You can safely walk to Fisherman's Village, about 1km away. There is a very tasty family run restaurant right outside on the main road called Osmin. What makes White Cottage special though is the Manager. Her name is "O" and her sister Nee also helps look after guests each day. O was amazingly friendly and helpful and was always happy to help us out and have a chat about things to do in Koh Samui. She even noticed it was my birthday while staying and presented me a piece of cake with a candle. She is a big asset to the White Cottage.

Me and girlfriend were staying here for a night before meeting her family the following day. We booked an extra night in the hope that it would be ok for her family to come to the white cottage until the check in time of the accommodation that we were all staying in later that day. The staff were very accommodating with this request and we appreciated them facilitating this as they really didn’t have to. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable and the air con was good. The pool area was very clean and it was pretty chilled in general. The beach was a 2 min walk away and you could also walk along the main road which had loads of shops, bars and restaurants. We also visited the fisherman’s village night market which was about 15 mins walk away. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The staff was incredible - so caring and helpful and truly went above and beyond. The hotel was clean and the facilities well maintained. The decor was nice too and the bed comfortable. Would definitely return!

The property was as photographed. The staff were very friendly. The manager was amazing - so helpful and considerate of all guests. She gave us lots of advice, helped us with taxi and local recommendations and had lots of aloe vera plants available for sunburn! The rooms were clean and the location was great - only a short walk from Fisherman’s village and very close to the beach!

I loved my stay at the White Cottage from the first minute to the last. The staff was very attentive, offering help with facilities, tours and taxi. Plenty of drinking water provided. The bungalow had enough privacy and yet you don't feel lonely around other people. The location is excellent, the beach is very close and yet you don't have to overpay for a beachfront resort. The walk to the beach is short and through another resort with night lighting. Plenty of eating options around, a nice massage place, a grocery store so basically everything you need. There is a pool at the hotel where you can freshen up or swim any time of the day (or night). There were no insects in the room and only a few mosquitoes outside in the evening. The air conditioning and the shower worked well. I felt completely comfortable and safe and would definitely come back to stay again.

Lovely property, great staff who gave us lots of information and arranged transfers and mopeds for us . It’s 2 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to all bars , restaurants and shops . Nice and quiet in evening . Comfy bed & pillows . Would recommend .

It was an adorable stay. I could walk to any nearer destinations around. I honestly miss the bed, it was so comfortable. But the best of everything was the host O. She made me feel like visiting my family without obligations and had always helping advices - thanks for everything!

The staff is really friendly and helpful with every need, such as taxi/transfer, laundry, day trip and excursions, luggage deposit, ecc. also last minute. The room are cozy, really clean and air-conditioned. They let you use the pool at any time as long as you are quite and do not disturb other guests, which is not really common among other locations.

This is a rather cosy place with a very nice vibe. I really can’t thank enough the manager - she was super friendly and helpful and she does an amazing job! The owner is also very friendly and nice. The hotel is right next to Karma which is a great place for chill/drinks. Also, Fisherman’s village is 10 minutes on foot away. So the location is just perfect
